David Moore & Associates/Rapid Sell is seeking a dynamic, skilled, and outgoing Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand image, expanding our reach, and engaging with a diverse audience. Your primary responsibilities will encompass developing and executing effective marketing strategies, creating captivating visual content, managing communications, and contributing to the growth of our business. This position requires a proactive individual who can operate within a fast-paced environment and who is open to learning about the intricacies of the auction industry. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive marking strategies for each service. Target various audiences, with a focus on various social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram
- Visual Content Creation: Utilize tools like Canva to design engaging marketing materials and website visuals that align with our brand identity
- Auction item Promotion: Identify the most valuable auction items and curate/edit photos for marketing purposes
- Newsletter Management: Draft, edit, and schedule weekly newsletters to keep our audience informed and engaged
- Advertising: Design weekly newspaper ads that effectively showcase our auctions and services
- Content Creation: Write blog posts and create content that target various stakeholders, educate our audience, and contribute to our SEO efforts
- Website management: Maintain our user-friendly brochure site for David Moore & Associates/Rapid Sell by updating stats and banner images, adding testimonials, sharing news, etc.
- Communication Planning: Create communications and contingency plans to ensure effective crisis management and proactive engagement with stakeholders
- Customer Relations: Manage customer complaints and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- Market Research: Stay up to date with industry news and conduct market research to inform marketing strategies
- Administrative Support: Provide additional administrative support on an as-needed basis
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary diploma/degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, communications, or related field
- Proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a dynamic industry
- Proficiency in graphic design tools, such as Canva
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to learn about the auction industry
- Creative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable taking initiative
- Prior auctions experience an asset but not a necessity
